Honest note on charts: Ring size charts vary by up to half a size between jewellers. Always confirm your size in millimetres — inner diameter or circumference — with the jeweller you are buying from before you order.

Guidance for men

  • Most common: US 9–10. If buying blind for a gift, 10 is the safer single guess — but measuring beats guessing.
  • Wide bands: men's wedding bands are often 6–8 mm wide; go up about half a size versus a narrow ring.
  • Knuckles: many men have knuckles notably wider than the finger base — size so the ring passes the knuckle with slight resistance.
  • Dominant hand: the ring finger on your dominant hand is often half a size larger.
