The short version

Our tools run entirely in your browser. Measurements you type or dial in are never sent to or stored on our servers. The only things stored on your device are your screen calibration (so the on-screen sizer stays accurate between visits) and your cookie choice — both in your browser's local storage, both deletable at any time by clearing site data.

What we store on your device

• Calibration (localStorage): the pixels-per-millimetre value from the card calibration.
• Cookie consent (localStorage, key rs_cookie_consent): remembers that you accepted the cookie notice. See the Cookie Policy.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

If this site shows ads served by Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services in Google's own privacy documentation. Rejecting personalisation does not remove ads; it makes them non-personalised.

Analytics and logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operation. We do not build profiles of individual visitors and we never sell personal data — we hold almost none to sell.
